When it works i have hypno, jynx and mewtwo on my bench, with clefable in active. Ive gotten lucky so far but it definitely has its weakness. Not a lot of power in the attacks.

I have had terrible pull luck with packs and still havent gotten koga, giovanni, or misty, and have only pulled 1 sabrina and 1 erika. Kinda difficult to make a viable deck when you cant get the cards needed, although i havent looked into the “rented” decks.
In the mean time i run unconventional decks with my strongest one being an arcanine/centiskorch deck. Its seems to work well enough.

If you’ve opened enough packs you can buy the trainers with pack points. They should be pretty cheap.

I’ve been really enjoying Charizard recently - the coin flips for Moltres are less maddening then for Misty or Marowak, haha

Tried some Dragonite decks tonight. Probably the most frustrating experience in this game that I have had.

Couldn’t agree more, although I still open a pack or 2 if I remember to open the app, all it’s done is made me want to keep adding to my IRL binder and appreciate the physical cards more.

A lot of it was based on bad hands and luck. I would get nothing but water energies and have all the mons i need. or i would never see a dragonair and by the time it showed up i was dead. I plan on trying some more but it was super frustrating.

I run an articuno and a lapras with one misty to either give some time to get a dragonite started, or if I get lucky with the coin flips do some damage too. Still run into what you’re mentioning sometimes. It’s definitely not an S tier deck, but when it works it’s fun!

Helps to stall a little and add poison. I don’t run a dark energy in the deck. Using Koga can help with not giving them too many points.
