Wondering if TPC is going to step on this type of activity. Seems like if they wanted people collecting actual cards they would want to be the ones to print them.

Not like they didnt know this would happen. People love the arts and there are whole etsy shops made for custom cards. Im hoping to see more of the card art without text though.

Random thought, but could you imagine what would happen if they removed the first set of packs entirely just as they had stopped printing the physical ones?

I can see that happening, unless they’re willing to inject the app with more than 20,000 adaptations of existing physical cards as well as new exclusive ones over its lifespan. Alternatively they might choose to limit the availability of older sets and rotate them between new sets

I was thinking somewhere similar. Trading is coming out soon, so there has to be a form of “want”. What better way than to have exclusives. We’ll see I guess! I mainly just open my free packs, but I love the game so far.

I do appreciate that the game caters to collectors, BUT I’m not totally sold on how long this will keep my interest. Some of the card images are a bit low-res, yes? And it’s more screen time, which I try to avoid and is one reason I collect paper…

Ive been enjoying the game for the most part. it needs to have more events and stuff to do though. Doing PVP all day gets old when its just Pika after Pika. My son and i love opening our daily packs right before bed each night. He is loving the collecting aspect of it.

I’ve started to judge people still playing pikachu, articuno, or mewtwo decks 
it’s getting old. Get your 45 win badge, and onto something different!
I’ve been lucky with packs lately, so have been trying a venusaur deck and a dragonite deck. My 3 neurons fire when using draco meteor, something exciting about the randomness without having to watch a coin flip.
Want to think about some other random gimmicky decks to try too

Been running a clefable hypno deck with mewtwo ex. Been doing alright for me so far. My ace is jynx. Go ahead and send out your venusaur or whoever you want with a buttload of energy.
