It’s still goin strong with all these events and updates! I wonder what they will do after they run out of shiny pokes to release though. They are already branching away from main games. (Shadow forms, etc.).

They can update attacks like they currently did with Mewtwo and you have everybody chasing down the same Pokémon again.

But it will be years before they’ve caught up with all generations of PokĂ©mon and every PokĂ©mon has had their shiny, shadow and better attack form

Not to mention hats and other costumes; They can go tons of ways in creating variants of Pokémon for the foreseeable future.

And I think PokĂ©mon GO is around long enough to see the first people who initially left, return and get back into the swing of things with all the new generations, shiny’s, etc. And so the cycle continues.

Also the recent inclusion of the Team GO Rocket NPC trainer battles is a sign of things to come, I think.

Or the avatars themselves! I thought there would be more body types for the wide range of beauty’s in PokĂ©mon.

Had a good laugh, thanks Scott! Go is still going strong, the house I live in is a Pokéstop (is that what its called, didnt play it for a long time) and my door is literally besieged on sundays when the beautys are looking for shadow!

wonder what will happen when the MTX regulations go through.

From what I understand PoGo won’t be affected. Nor would a game like Fortnite. In these games you get what you pay for. Essentially you are buying specific items with specific powerups/cosmetics/whatever.

Games that will be affected are “loot box” type games. They tie that to gambling where you have low odds on opening high value items. Cough cough Pokemon booster packs IRL. But really though I think even with loot boxes they will just have to advertise the exact pull rates of the rare items I think.

lootboxes is indeed a seperate issue.

First thing I hear about this regulation. In Belgium we already have a regulation for this, as one of the first countries in the world I believe. PokĂ©mon Masters wasn’t released in Belgium therefore. Neither will Mario Kart mobile.

I slowed down a few months back, but still open it up to play a bit once in a while. There are too many events and I can’t keep up easily with my schedule, but the real issue was most of my friends slowed down too. I have one friend that still goes pretty hard, but he doesn’t even like to battle, which was something I looked forward too, but was disappointed when I had so few people to play with

Many see that same problem. Some I used to raid with, now have their own private groups.

It would be interesting if they released some kind of pokemon go promo card, I find the rumble and snap cards pretty cool.
