Pokemon is only one aspect of my hobbies/interests. It’s just also where I have a lot of online friends so whether I stop collecting or not, I’ll probably always be around in some capacity. I collect a lot of things, I like to do different things, and that’s ok for people to do. You shouldn’t have to feel obligated to spend money and overwhelm yourself to be part of something, either.

It’s pretty true hahah

@johto I’ve been fishing basically all of my life and still working on the patience part hahahah

This is one reason I have my MtG land collection. It’s something I’ve taken great interest in from time to time, but because lands are dirt cheap, It makes ZERO sense to buy them in any other way than bulk. I also turn to professional growth, as I’ve cultivated careers that I’m genuinely interested in and could do just as much as a hobby, as trading cards.

No matter WHAT you do, I wish you the best of luck in finding new avenues in THIS hobby, or blazing trails into NEW hobbies.

Solved? Nah. Pokémon is like No-Limit Hold’em — takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master. Every time it feels solved, a new rabbit hole shows up… if you’re willing to take the red pill.
