Had some people posting they got all Scarlet and Violet out of the V-strikers they got. Looks like its hit or miss.

The scarlet and violet rumor was a troll post on the deals discord to throw people off. It worked beautifully.
The target etbs were available online for quite a while. Around 3:30 eastern I think on Saturday.
The tyranitar tins and empoleon were posted at noon for Walmart plus members, those sold out for shipping within five minutes. In store pickup lasted about another hour. Noone is certain of the contents yet and it still could vary by region

I was able to get a variety from walmart ill check. Target keeps coming in and out of stock with small amounts
I am all for finding good deals while collecting, but these people that are waiting in line for Target to open and then fight over $20 ETBs all to save $20 is absurd. Could have made way more just having a real job and spending 3 minutes ordering online for MSRP

Looks like most of the damage is done for the big target/Walmart sales.
Hope everyone did well. I doubt we will see anything else from them. All that is left is the actual black Friday sales on tcg specific websites like trollandtoad & collectors cache. I hope they have something! Even a small flat rate off site wide would be nice for more niche tcg purchases.
This years black Friday really signaled one thing to me: Everyone is super bullish for SV 2025. I think itâs gonna be a crazy year
Economies of scale, if you grab 1 ETB for each hour you wait then youâre saving more than minimum wage in most places. If you grab more than 1 per hour waited then youâre saving significantly more. Even if the equation works out perfectly where the money saved is the same that could have been earned, waiting in line is significantly easier than working a job. I agree itâs lunacy but in many cases the people successfully obtaining the product are, in their opinion, making good use of their time and energy. Most of them, if employed, probably hate their jobs more than scrambling for product. Itâs a symptom of the overall society/economy.

30% off tcgs online and in person starting tonight midnight (I think)

Black Friday is long over but idk I found this a little funny. Stores canât seem to give this stuff away. TPC please just make etbs blisters and boxes. Nothing else. Thanks
