My halve a meter Pikachu and Energy cards also came between two thin wooden planks. Very well packaged, even though the shipping was still very cheap regardless of the size and weight (cheaper than most singles in envelopes with tracking from outside of Europe to my place…)

That wood looks familiar. I bought a couple of PSA graded Pokemon cards from Japan from a seller last year on ebay that used similar wood.

That sounds about right, I received two packages that day, the middleman one and one that contained PSA cards from eBay!

How did those turn out?
I always ask sellers how they ship, I rather not receive top loaders at all.
At least Japanese sellers use those bigger top loaders and double stack them if you buy more cards, instead of cramming 20 cards into it.
Not the best, several card backs were indented. Still sent them to PSA though because charizords
