In 1999, Hasbro released the Battling Coin Game that had cases of golden coins with Pokémon stickers on them. The coins came in cassette-like cases with instructions on how to play the game and contained three different coins each. I was not able to buy a case with the coin yet, but I got my hands on one of the coins.

I don’t like the golden coins much; in fact, I think they make for one of my least favorite items, besides the Meiji coins. They are just not my kind of collectible. But I have to say, they look fantastic in the original cases. So, eventually, I will have to get one, too.
