In my opinion I at first thought it may have been a black triangle error era pack variant, but those were done with “additional cards” and not “tradeable cards”. This is 100% PSA’s error as that was a specific variant 1st edition pack and should have had them in it. If it was a variant, such as the ones rusty sells, PSA would have it notated.
With a full video from cracking to opening the pack and revealing shadowed cards that are well worn you shouldn’t have an issue getting your money back from PSA.
Alright guys, here is the video (apologies for the orientation if you’re watching it right now, it will be veritcal until YouTube finishes processing the video)! I also hope the thumbnail is a forgivable offense- I figure it would help bring attention and make it more appealing and draw in people who would otherwise not see the video.
If you want to just skip to the pack opening, go to 2:50. Else, you can watch me break that sucker open! Thank you everyone for the replies, condolences, and help so far. I will most likely contact PSA first because that seems like the proper chain of command to follow, regardless of whether they are the one providing the refund- they just need to be notified and aware.
Good recording, pack never fully left camera frame while you were recording so there should be no debate from anyone that the pack was potentially swapped off frame. Sucks this happened but really good that you recorded everything without any edits, good luck with the PSA follow up.
Why did I bother posting this on Virbank… I got accused of pack swapping because my friend’s thumb got in the way for a second during the video. You can literally play/pause frame by frame and see that the shape of the pack did not change alongside its positioning, and I think common sense dictates that I have literally nothing to gain from faking this.
