Old Posts that Aged Like Fine Wine (Or Like Milk)

Lessons to be learnt:

  • Patience is golden.
  • Don’t be brain-washed or swayed by “noises”. Believe and be firm in your own convictions.
  • Always see far, aka long term (15-20 years). Not present, not near future.

So many sellers too are now dumping cards lower than market price. I was recently able to pick up some cards I wanted very much (which were selling for high prices during pandemic).

My 1st ever post and about a topic that gets discussed quite frequently.

I still think PSA 10 Unlimiteds are more valuable than PSA 9 1st editions :skull_and_crossbones::skull_and_crossbones::skull_and_crossbones::skull_and_crossbones:

I think its absolutely wild that people are paying a 10x multiplier for a psa 10.

Imagine buying a new lamborghini.

A brand new one costs 500k but next to it is the same lamborghini with a very tiny scratch on the underside that is only visible in the right lighting conditions selling for 50k.
I know which one im taking and i also know this comparison doesnt make sense and will probably not age well😅

Wait what is 500k?

I use to be a PSA 10 only collector back when base holos were like $60.

I don’t want to hijack this thread so Ill just state this lol. If you remove base set and just look at jungle to neo on tcgfish, the majority of the time the PSA 10 Unlimited holos are more valuable than the PSA 9 1st edition holos.

Depends on how your are determining the ‘value’

If it’s just price point, then 1st Ed PSA 9 is arguably better value as it’s a lower price point and more desirable than unlim 10s.
