Official E4 Vegetable Tier List/Ranking

You had baked radishes mushrooms and sweet potato with onion and worceshetshire sauce?

Combine the veg in a bowl with sauce and seasoning, then bake for 60 minutes at 375. Jostle the veg after 30 mins so nothing gets too crispy on one side.

Im a trained cook and ive fed this to multiple people that dont like either onion radish or mushroom and its always made them believers.

In all seriousness i would love to cook a good baked chantrelle and pine mushroom bacon risotto. Youd be throwing charizards at me for another bite.

I like most veggies and tomatoes. mushrooms, potatoes and beans are not veggies so they are not placed high. Tomatoes are excluded from that list because they are sooooooooooooo good

If there will be a fruit tier list in the future, the overall grade would be lower for me I guess

I can’t rate eggplant because I have no idea what it tastes like.

Also I agree @thatpikachuguy I would rate mushrooms as F if I could.

best veggie opinion
Many textures make me nauseous, so I just blend most of my veggies. Not proud of it but I honestly don’t care :slight_smile:

Never had any jalapeƱo nor egg plant, so can’t rate them. Not a fan of any in the D row, everything else is fine, but just somewhat distributed among those ranks. Btw, where is the spinach and garlic at (which would be S and A for me for those wondering)?

Also, for bell pepper it really depends on the color. Not much of a fan of the green ones, but red, yellow, and orange taste pretty good. And with potato it of course depends on how you make them. Not much of a fan of smashed potato, cooked a bit, and fried I of course love (who doesn’t).

Maybe we’ll need a meat tier list next (sorry vegans and vegetarians :wink: )?

I am violently offended by the ranking of corn on these lists.

Go get some fresh sweet corn. Shuck it and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with sea salt and wrap in foil. Grill over high heat. 5 minutes, Quarter rotation, repeat until all sides have 5 min heat exposure.

You will A-tier corn. Guarantee it.

This is thread of the year. Here’s my list:

However, there are some vegetables missing:
Garlic (I don’t care if you count that one as onion type, its uses are so vastly different that it should have an extra entry. Same goes for scallions and maybe shallots)
Beans, unless the kidney beans account for all beans
Cauliflower (hate it but it should be there at least, and it’s not exactly broccoli)
Watermelon (just kidding…or am I?)

How do people feel about the investing in jalapenos and radishes? I feel like a lot of people see the value in jalapenos already which is why we’re seeing them on the rise but believe that radishes are undervalued and may pop up more often given enough time.

Looking at the pop reports, I think radishes are the play here. Jalapenos are widely used in many dishes, as garnish, and in salsas. Radishes are much rarer to me which should help their value.

Don’t know if that was intentional, but your analogy kinda illustrates the ā€˜low pop = high value’ fallacy in Pokemon.
Radishes are low pop because there is low demand. Jalapenos are high pop because there is high demand. Less people like radishes compared to Jalapenos, it only appeals to a niche community of radish lovers. Whereas Jalapenos are a staple in all fastfood restaurants etc., therefore there is a lot more money to be made. The big money is in the high demand veggies bro.

See, now I agree that Jalapenos are a HOT commodity right now, many people don’t consider the value of radishes outside of the European market. Currently in Japan and some other Asian countries, radishes are BIG - pickled radish is especially in high demand in those countries. I suspect that when the European market expands and considers pickled radish, we might see an influx of radishes hit the European market for higher prices.
