Hello guys and welcome to another day. So the metal on steroids is gone. I am happy the community sent melmetal before meltan as few days ago it looked otherwise. Yup melmetal didn’t feel for a mythical status for me too. I love it’s signature move though, strong double iron bash.. But there are better options on the board left so adios melmetal…

Hoopa got far enough. It’s annoying and the unbound form is more ugly less scary and one bugg buzz kills it..

Feel like I’m out on my own now with Victini voting. I don’t really know anything about it compared to the others which is why it’s getting my vote :man_shrugging:

Honestly, They’re dorky enough to get a pass from me, but manaphy? It’s as formless as ditto and “mercury ditto”, and YET, it still somehow HAS a form… and it’s not a blob, it’s just confusing.

Meltan and Melmetal should not have been separated. It is not like Melmetal in design is such a crazy different Pokémon than Meltan.

Honestly I’m a little surprised at the Zeraora hate. I always thought it was very Lucario coded. A little unoriginal, but nothing overly offensive about it.

I think the Zeraora hate also comes from the fact many think it’s what Luxray should have been.

Didn’t really get into Pokémon until gen 7 so bypassed a lot of lore etc. I have gone back and played the games but my only minimal exposure to Victini was when it was introduced in PoGo :flushed_face:

Never watched any of the movies either :face_with_peeking_eye:

I just thought Zeraora was something to do with Zoroark and didn’t understand why it existed.

Holy cow—I guess I don’t talk to enough people who have had the inverse of my experience with Pokemon. I was born in 98 so my first experiences with Pokemon were Pokemon Stadium, Silver, LeafGreen, and Emerald

As someone who didn’t experience Pokemon in the natural progression you are probably more immune to the nostalgia bias. Can I ask what your favorite Gen or game is?

Born in 81 so I was ‘too cool(old)’ for Pokémon when it first came out so bypassed me for years.

My first experience of Pokémon in any form was PoGo and then some friends who were into Pokémon said I should try the Sun/Moon demo and I was hooked from there. Played the full game and loved it.

Played quite a lot of the games including Crystal as the oldest game I’ve played in it’s truest form rather than a remake/remaster.

I think Moon is probably my favourite game as lot of nostalgia attached to it.

Definitely no OG bias for me. In fact, some of the gen 1 are just downright awful to me :rofl::face_with_peeking_eye:

My favourite generation is tricky as given my PoGo experience and starting with a later gen game I’ve always had such a mix of generations to deal with. I’d still probably say gen 7 will always be important to me for the reasons mentioned above.
