I have received something in the mail that could help in deciphering the meaning of these mysterious things tokens
The only differences in the written message from lyleberr on my letter and niece’s letter are slightly different phrasing on the first and last line, and a blacked out part that can be seen in the middle of my letter. I suspect that these differences don’t have a relation to the mystery of the tokens, but I thought that it would be good to point out just in case.
Now as for the chain of Pokémon found at the bottom of the letter, here’s what I decoded:

I also received a blue and green token that posses magnetic abilities. The magnet is visible. However, it is located deeper in the token than the other non-blue tokens

I also received something mysterious today. The bottom appears to be the same, but the top code appears to be TM SEVENTY, which is Flash, Aurora Veil, Trick Room or Sleep Talk. Either that or the cabal is going to send a flashbang.

I, too, shall add to the mystery. I received this message and two tokens:
I have a yellow-purple token that came with the 1st place art piece. Both have rectangle magnets.
The coded message in the letter is TM10, which can be the following:
Double-edge
Hidden Power
Dig
Magical Leaf
Work Up
Ice Fang
I think the clue points to the move Work Up. Because, clearly, we are going to get worked up trying to solve this mystery.
Still no clue how to piece any of this together

I have discovered another property of the mysterious tokens. My token had been left in a well lit area for a couple hours, and upon turning off the light I noticed that the token had started glowing slightly. I then decided to put the token under a bright light for a few seconds then take it to a completely dark area, and sure enough the token started glowing bright.
(Both the back and front of the token are shown above)
It appears that these new tokens are able to glow in the dark.

Another token to share! I have received the same message starting with TM: 70. In gens 4-6 the move is Flash and in later gens it is Aurora Veil, Trick Room, and Sleep Talk.
I thought about narrowing which TM70 it is by looking up Smeargle’s learnset only to realize it cannot learn any TMs!
The move Flash does have a connection to solving mysteries…
- Using the move in HGSS will allow the player to access a hidden room in the Ruins of Aplh.
- Flash allows access to Registeel’s chamber in Emerald.
- In BW, it allows access to the 3rd floor of the Abyssal Ruins.

Ah, I wonder if Flash is a hint towards the glow-in-the-dark ability of the tokens.
I wonder why the last word is misspelled in all of them too. Prevails → Prevafls. Seems like an oversight that would’ve been caught, meaning it might have been left in for some purpose.
I didn’t have the cabal code in my message, but maybe there just wasn’t enough space

It is strange that the I is replaced with f, since in niece’s letter we can see that there is a blastoise stamp. Mine was missing a e in the word three, so maybe we should keep track of any abnormal letters in case they reveal something.

Good catch, it’s likely in reference to the glow in the dark feature.
The cabal has the power to create new words you know. I prevafl, he/she prevafls, prevafling, and so on…

Like @niece, I also received a code for TM94, which could be any of the options below:
Maybe we use Secret Power (TM94, TM43) to enter the base, and Flash (TM70) to see the Hidden Power (TM10) inside?

Both my tokens from the art contest are confirmed to glow in the dark too. Not sure if that helps with anything. I tried looking closely at the message and tokens but didn’t find anything that stood out.

I’ve been a passive observer with all of this but the glow in the dark aspect just gave me a thought. Has anyone tried using a blacklight on the tokens and/or the messages they come with?

Thank you for posting a clear sketch of what is on this recently discovered token. Some of these photos make it difficult to see the details but it seems like you were able to view it all to get it copied down.

I had to use a super computer to reconstruct the image based on the limited data. It took more processing power than the entire yearly energy consumption of Brazil. But I think it was necessary to give everyone more data.
Unfortunately the machine exploded when it was done with the task, destroying several promising clones in the process.
