Here are some of my Pokémon items I kept since my childhood. A VHS tape, a book/guide and a CD-ROM. It doesn’t get more 90’s than that.

Thanks! If only I could find somebody with a VCR, the ability (and patience) to read or a PC with cd drive.
So I went searching for my childhood Pokémon shirts. These are very near and dear to my heart. Because back in the day, I was asked to be the Gym Leader of our local game store. The Gym Leader was the one who ran the Pokémon League events, gave points which led to the monthly promo card and badge-pin rewards and taught new people how to play the game. I have fond memories of many saturday mornings, teaching other kids how to play and enjoy the Pokémon card game. So I’ve held on to the shirts I was wearing during that period. I’m still thinking of framing these or something, I haven’t quite decided yet.
The third shirt is from the first National Pokémon TCG tournament I entered. I didn’t get anywhere noteworthy, but being a kid back then, I’ll always carry that special moment with me. It was great to see such a massive event with so many people sharing my excitement for Pokémon.
