Blister packs are a little more visually appealing. If I can get one at a reasonable price over a sealed pack I would. Since it sounds like they aren’t built to last, investment-wise maybe not, but collection wise, sure. The blisters have always been a little more fun imo
I know that at least where I live is probably one of the places in the USA with a fair bit of humidity and I haven’t had any issues with blister glue coming undone for years. I think proper storage is really the key for longevity.
I go above and beyond for mine but first each blister gets a plastic team bag then I put them in a comic book bag with the cardboard insert. They are then stacked in a water tight plastic tub.
I also take them out often and don’t have any issues.
I wouldn’t handle them too much though, even if you never had issues. I can say that about many scenarios, where one person has the issue but another one hasn’t. In general with collectibles, the more you handle the item, the higher chance damage will incur. Sometimes things you don’t even notice. I have old Pokémon sealed tins, I picked one up to show it to someone and they handled it, the fingernail marks are embedded on the plastic wrap now.
