I have seen that settings will differ based on lighting. Ultimately, I just want to show that you can see that these dots can be seen even with just a phone and simple editing tools. Thus allowing people to check their cards easily and hopefully expanding the accessibility of this discovery.
I just wanted to say this is what “for the community” actually looks like. Pfm lost thousands of dollars releasing this information to save others potentially millions.
I’m certain CGC is attempting to independently verify this, and I’m certain they’re aware given the response received from ALT, but has anyone had direct communication with them regarding these findings?
Are they just going to use this thread as their paper trail of what we know, or which cards are impacted?
I imagine some of you, as owners, have reached out? Just curious
I don’t have an iPhone and am not having luck finding dots to decode on mine for the date complication. If anyone with success with that method would fiddle for me it would be greatly appreciated
I was trying to see if I could conduct the same test everyone is running on the single copy I own which is currently sitting in the alt.xyz vault and I noticed that alt has dropped the insured card value by 70% overnight.
Man, this is truly sad. I’m absolutely gutted for you, @PFM, and others who took a chance on these. I take time off for other hobbies from time to time but every time I read about CGC on here, it’s just a revolving door of bad news. Think we all wait in anticipation for their response. Thank you for sharing with us and for all you’ve done for E4. Insane detective work!
