Well the last two went between 55k-60k so expect the same. I think Base Set 1st Edition boxes are super well known when they pop up no matter who has them listed so a big company listed I don’t think is going to send the box skyrocketing past 60k but who knows!

Odd they require only non-protected payment.

That seal is looser than ____.

DACW is a reputable seller right so the chance of this box being a fake is really slim right?

Maybe they want payment through those ways for tax issues?

Iirc they unintentionally sold some fake 1st ed legend of blue eyes booster boxes; I’d be cautious as usual

Rudy made a great video recently showcasing how a large company in MTG recently flubbed on a Beta card. The point is that mistakes can happen, even for reputable companies. The crucial differential is the reputable companies provide some type of assurance or insurance.

I remember when @thecharizardauthorty purchased his box from CC, they stated if the first couple packs opened were not 1st edition base, they would return or re-work the deal.

To be completely candid, I think anyone putting anything high end, especially the most valuable and forged sealed box on Virbank is like buying a BMW from a street merchant known for selling fake purses. This is the same site that has no problem allowing fake/custom cards. Point being, the target clientele are not on Vribank, or Facebook “marketplaces” as a whole. Therefore I think how they are advertising is odd to say the least.

Looks very similar to the one I posted the other day  wrapping loose aswell. Wonder if that one didn’t sell now someone else is trying to sell it for the owner ?

I thought the exact same thing

Apparently Jim Bruso’s box that he advertised on Virbank sold, though maybe Joe bought it from him and this is the same one. I don’t know about that though since they’re both vendors, I feel like Jim probably wouldn’t accept Joe’s buy price.

That said the box is going on the DACardWorld website, I think he was just posting on Virbank for some exposure. It’s probably posted on other social media platforms and groups as well.
