Japan banned from sending mail for two months

USA is not on the list, but I dont think it matters. I have talked to a few fellow collectors in the US that have ordered packages last week that still havent been sent, I would assume you can still order from Japan from USA but you need to wait 1-2 weeks before it leaves the post office

I’ve come to talk with you again.

Finland is not on the list yet thankfully but I’m yet to receive something that was shipped on 27th of March… But I received something else last week that was sent tracked. The one I haven’t received yet wasn’t sent tracked, so there’s that.

Ordering from Amazon Japan works just fine as well because those orders are shipped by DHL, got an order from there super fast.

So I think it depends on your country and what shipping option you are using.

I don’t know how all this works but I have a card coming from the US, bought on 6th April, went to San Fran and now updated this morning to Tokyo! It has returned to it’s homeland lol. So flights are still allowed in anyway. I’m UK so it’s literally going all around the world which is impressive.

The last 3 shipments that I got from the US came to Finland through Tokyo. But I have no idea how it’s going to be now. Maybe mail can be forwarded if it’s not originally from Japan Post.

That’s good to know, yeah maybe using Tokyo to fill their air mail plane or just refueling, either way I don’t even mind there’s delays I’m just amazed at watching the tracking updates! Pokemon cards are well travelled anyway no doubt.

Funny though, mine did also a Zwischenstopp. For me it was Miami - London - Frankfurt.

I’m currently waiting for two packages from the US, one from Japan, one from Malaysia, one from Australia and one from the UK. It’s going to be interesting to see what route they eventually take after all the delays.
