Just curious if thats the first English? Anyone know what the first Japanese appearance of Mimikyu would be? Is it this card?

according to bulbapedia, 009 came out in 2016. i don’t think another came out before 2017

@inertgeometry is indeed correct. The first Japanese Mimikyu was 009/SM-P, released on December 9th, 2016.

And no, the SM162 promo is a Pikachu :sweat_smile:. But assuming you meant the SM163 Mimikyu promo that came along with it, that was also not nearly the first, since it was released in English on February 1st, 2019.
The first English Mimikyu is the SM29 promo, released on April 7th, 2017.
