Is my 1st edition Squirtle considered as a "grey stamp"?

Hello!

I am not very familiar with 1st edition stamp variations, so I prefer to ask here: is my 1st edition Squirtle considered as a “grey stamp”?

Here are some HD pictures on a Flickr album: www.flickr.com/photos/189107501@N03/albums/72157716693963568

Thanks

Well, it’s a very subjective topic but in my opinion that’s not a grey stamp. It has the 3D effect though, which is cool (also just my opinion)

Imo no, grey stamps are like 1/3 the saturation of a regular black stamp, that one is like at 4/5

True grey stamps are easy to identify - by their grey coloured stamps :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t even understand the appeal

Congrats your printer was running out of ink lol

What’s the appeal about anything then? Congrats your card has a 1st edition stamp on it, congrats your card doesn’t have a shadow

Anything can be made to sound silly

Okay guys that’s what I thought, thanks for the confirmation

^ This indeed.

It’s a Thick 3D stamp. (And the other stamp you had next to it is a Thick 2D stamp.) Neither are grey, though.
