Good evening from Denmark,
I would like to now if my Mewtwo gx 78 from Shining Legends is gradable with BGS/Beckett, even though it has small yet visible ink error dots all over the back of the card? The centering is most likely a 9 or so, while the edges and corners are most likely also in the 9 area as I see it. I know the previous info is non important, but if the card is gradable with BGS here in Europe my next question would be, how much the ink error dots on the back would devalue the surface grade?
Thank you in advance to anyone and everyone who has any info on this matter
Kind Regards
Alexander
Can you post a picture? I dont think surface matters alot to some collectors, but Id like to get a grasp on what it looks like to really hone in on a proper response. Im sure beckett would grade it, if its authentic, but the depending on the amount of ink it might affect grading the surface.
I assume you mean the small white ink dots (like freckles) as it’s common with that card.
BGS would probably give the surface an 8.5 for that type of factory error, similar to a larger print line.
I actually have a white ink print error on the back of my Shadowless Alakazam that graded a BGS 9 with 8.5 surface.
I’m currently on a trip, but I will send you a few pics of the card when I come home. Thank you for your reply and thank you in advance for the further help
That’s sick, I appreciate the info. I’ll add some photos to this thread so you can check the card out and tell me if I described the issue correctly. Thank you for the current info and in advance for your help
