I asked a seller to ship a 80$ card WITH tracking but they forgot, and they sent it with a normal untracked envelope. I panicked and it RUINED my week, that’s how tough I am lol.

I have sent 20k value item in an envelope with the worst local mail post no insurance to Japan to a guy who I talked on Twitter using google translate that said yes to a trade and I had to send first.

I once sent a high value item in a HAND WRITTEN envelope with the buyers info in mandarin chinese without insurance (I don’t know chinese) to Taiwan.

  • high value item not tracked (not by accident, just for science)
  • very high value item left outside house by UPS (middleman was out of town for 3 days)
  • Middleman left very high value item at USPS post office (package was already labeled UPS) and only noticed the next day.
    -very high value item put in mailbox (middleman didn’t notice for days) tracking says package returned to sender (probably deliverman marked in the wrong way).
    All happy ending.
