Looks like they angled it in a way you can’t tell. The 1st ed stamp should be on its foot in the corner. So unless you tilt it to get the light just right, I imagine this card in particular is almost impossible to tell from a photo.
Looks 1st ed to me. Bottom of the symbol on the claw.

Close but no cigar, you can kinda see the bottom line of the 1st ed symbol here at the top of his claw.

Same, but with the L2 umbreon 037/080 rev.foil unlimited. So many times of me burning me retina’s with me screenbrightness and me zooming in on that darn corner

This was me with the XY9 Secret Gyarados EX, it blends in so badly. But I can imagine not as bad as these Dark types!

What’s the pop on that one?
- I know of at least 2 that are mislabeled though.
That is such an issue. How does PSA miss the stamp on clear cards like that? The Greninja holo AND the Break both have at least 1 mislabelled in their pop.
But 7 seems hella low for a Pokemon as popular as Gengar.

One of my grails right there. How did you find one? Religious ebay searching? I can only find the pregraded one, I’m hoping to find an ungraded in the wild.
Mercari searching. This is the 2nd one I found. First one I traded raw for my ued XY8 Typhlosion.
A lot of times I buy lots and they just happened to be buried in there.
I know someone who possibly has a raw (not in 10 condition unfortunately) if you’re looking, can send me a DM.

Do you collect just any XY8 unlimited cards?
I wouldn’t say collect, more like enjoy searching them and other rare XY ued sets. They stay in my collection but aren’t permanent as I have traded/sold quite a few to other species collectors.
