thats true but I’m not to sure God packs are common enough to actually provide a meaningful amount of supply to the market. Also, at least from what I’ve seen on video, even God packs dont guarantee you an Umbreon
Regardless they could possibly tweak pull rates at any time they want and make fools of the early chasers.
It’s also possible there was major theft of these SARs at factory which is causing lower than normal pulls

That is just not how it works. Supply and price do not have a linear relationship. Pokemon cards are an example of elastic goods. If you reduce the supply available or increase the price, people aren’t compelled to pay up at the new price. They will just buy less copies or none at all
I agree with pfm.
Something that you have to take into consideration is the resources associated with demand. A card could be heavily in demand, but the resources to buy that card will always be limited. There comes a point where the number of folks able to buy the card decreases exponentially as the price raises. Additionally, we are in a pretty strong market with a lot of FOMO, so buyers may already be allocating funds to other cards, and especially so as the Umbreon moves out of their expected range.
