Hi everyone.

I’ve just joined the UPCCC today. I live in Melbourne, Australia and started collecting mostly Pokemon prize cards early this year for my 2 kids (9 and 6 years old) who both love Pokemon. I would say I’m not as young as most of you here but I do share my kids’ interest in Pokemon. Our collection is still in its infancy and nowhere near the great collections that abound in this forum. When our collection improves, I would someday take a video of our cards to share with everyone, but for now this is what we managed to put together:

I love hearing about parents that are involved in their kids hobbies! And what a collection to share with them! Amazing!

Yeah it took a while but I’ve been visiting the forum since you alerted me to it. Indeed a great community of passionate collectors and really amazing collections. The kids just love the Pika Ring, it now sits right in the middle of the living room. Thank you. :wink:

I think you have an awesome collection!! You possess quite the congregation of rare cards, which is no easy feat; this is an amazing accomplishment, so congratulations!

Your collection seems pretty high up there to me. Certainly more astounding in the Japanese Promo area than most :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyways, congrats on your collection so far and I look forward to seeing what else you pick up along the way! Also, I’d love to see some images of your amazing cards :grin:

Welcome, and glad to have you here :blush:.

I remember one fall day, years ago when Neo Revelation had just been released in Canada. My dad had previously knocked Pokemon cards and had never bought me any cards before. I raked the leaves all day for fun and he came home with two Neo Revelation packs and a Neo Discovery pack for me. I can’t even explain to you how much that meant to me! I would say that you are going to create countless memories with your children and I hope they appreciate it as much as they should :blush:
