Has anyone ever used @getautographed

Hello,

There is an instagram user @ getautographed who was at the Hartford Regionals & had a booth. He has a service to get cards signed by Mitsuhiro Arita.

He seems like a great guy, and its an awesome service. I just wanted to check if anyone here has used him in the past?

Thank you

I haven’t used them but I will l be for the upcoming signing. I emailed back and fourth and he was able to provide an answer for all of my concerns in a articulate way. He seems legit as they come.

Thanks for responding.

I agree! His communication is fantastic. I’m going to be using him also this time around. I guess I was just curious if anyone has used him in the past, maybe just to ease my mind a bit

Thanks again.

I have not used him, but I did meet and talk with him for a good while several times while in Hartford and he is a super cool dude. I personally wouldn’t hesitate to use him if I wanted something signed.

Just sent 3 cards to him today for the Arita singing, his communication is 5/5. Now I’m just hoping all goes well, if it does I’ll defiantly consider using his service for the Kouki Saitou signing.

I agree with you. His communication AND everything else about him is top notch- I sent him some of my cards as well. Did he release a date yet for the Kouki Saitou signing? I know he told me it was in the works, but last I checked he didn’t have a date.

@oneonta, No date yet. Is that signing a private signing or is Saitou signing at a convention like Arita?

Christopher (the guy running getautographed) has a legitimate service. I met him at the Kouki Saitou signing in Dallas last January and he’s been in contact with me since.

I asked Saitou about that since I saw him on their website. He said he was unaware of any signing. Currently he has no public appearances announced.

I do! But through his facebook rather than his site. I met him through alecpokemon, hopefully all goes well with the Arita signing.

What makes this process seem legit?

@oneonta,@seeingdouble,@mikejofthecoast,@neverforget50in07,@alecpokemon,@bbqcat,@tcgcaravan,@budget,

Hello Everyone

First I’d like to thank you all for your nice words and it was wonderful being in Hartford to meet a lot of you.

So I’m gonna give some quick background on Get Autographed and then I’ll answer the questions I see in here.

Get Autographed was offically form as an LLC on April 1 2019. I had been running a private signing service since late 2014 and 2017 was my first time doing a signing for PokĆ©mon related items. In Feb 2019 a friend reached out asking if I could go to the Dallas Regionals for the signing there and they suggested I open my private signings up to everyone. So here we are! That being said, ā€˜usually’ I only do private signing events and the website is still in the beginning stages of being built.

Please check out the website if you have not done so yet at www.GetAutographed.com - there is a lot to take in and soon it won’t just be pokemon as I’ve done many other signings in the past in various fields.

@oneonta, asks if the signing with Saitou is public or private: This will be a private event in 2020 hopefully while I am there for the Olympics but a date has not been set up yet. My translator does all the discussions with him and I’m just waiting on final word.

@tcgcaravan, I recognize you from IG and thanks for trusting me with your cards - I saw them yesterday and they are amazing.

@budget, ā€œWhat makes this process seem legit?ā€ - There will be a review section on my website, IG, Facebook etc. so that you and others are able to see that what I do as is indeed legit. Until then, you just have to be a grumpy cat

So I am thinking about doing this, one thing that may be overlooked on your autographs if you accept feedback… I think you should specify the autograph on the artist. If I am getting a signed autograph, I prefer Arita’s signature in Japanese, please forgive me as I don’t remember the differences in (Kanji, Hiragana, or Katakana). I know he signs in English as well and I know its something minor. All my autographs from him are already in Japanese as well.

When I sent mine in, he asked me to include a paper that outlined exactly what I wanted (language, sketch, etc.). He said that he would try his best to fulfil the order, however, it is ultimately up to the artist in what they want to do (see Harada’s tweet for how not to act at a signing :zipper_mouth_face: ).

That is true and I would be humble in any signature I got. Thanks for the input.

Can you link to what was said?

My bad! I meant to say Midori Harada, who apparently didn’t have such a great time at her last signing.

you’re all good! just some fans forget that just because Arita will sign everything, doesn’t mean that the other tcg artist’s will have that same temperament. (and i think iv’e even heard stories where Arita will turn down signings because he doesn’t like to sign for re-sellers).

Oh…okay. Would have been surprised if that was Himeno.
