Grading thoughts?

So I collect Tropius cards (waiting for one more then I have every eng and JP). But the roaring skies reverse is my favourite and I wanna get it in psa 10. Never graded a card before and wanted to hear your thoughts on if you think this would make a 10? Or if anyone has one in their collection that could grade a 10 and would want to help me out (would also love the dragon frontiers tropius reverse in a psa 10). Thanks guys
(also first time posting on a forum ever so sorry if something goes wrong)

As far as pictures go it looks like a shot at a 10, make sure there are none or very very minimal scratches on the surface of the foil. Report back in 1 year once it gets returned from PSA

Only thing that has me worried is the bottom left dot (2nd last pic), would it still make a 10 with that or is it sort of 50/50?

Is there any 10’s on eBay you can purchase? It could get a 9 or a 10 but won’t knkw until you try it

Not that I’ve seen @dbmoney10, I always keep an eye out. I’m from AUS aswell

Have any been graded in general? It seems like an unpopular card. Perhaps you can go to your local gaming stores and search to see if they have any other 10 candidates.

Pretty sure my local doesn’t have pokemon, so sad :slightly_frowning_face: Theres only 1 copy in the pop report and its a 9. I feel like the white dot on the bottom left of mine would be an automatic psa9?

Not necessarily. We all have 10s with a tiny white dot

Looks 10 worthy to me  just make sure you check over that reverse foil as there could be tiny scratches that only certain lights can capture

You can always just get a upper deck case and seal the card in that way; looks really presentable without the stress and costs of getting it PSA graded, especially if it’s to keep!

The card looks great to me, but like many others would say, getting a PSA 10 sometimes require luck.

Same thing here, I agree… the bottom left could make it a 9. I have had some PSA 8’s look more flawless then this card, so I feel like sometimes it can be hit or miss.

It is said “beauty is the eye of the beholder”, well so does “the grade is the eye of the beholder”
