Seeing people on the socials saying a psa 10 is 400k + now … sure sure sure :grimacing: Still crazy how this has gone up 300k from 2024 prices

Bet you a Trophy Kang he sells within a year

at least that one was still 6 figures during a poke not-boom  what if a gold star rayray is worth more than a trophy kang nowadays :grimacing:

You know what honestly that would explain a lot of the utter insanity that is going on in a sense. Just multiply this phenomenon into phenomena and that would somewhat maybe make sense of things somewhat maybe.

Also points out (after the 340k of course) may we all discover our inner child. Yes, yes, by spending 340k on a single card when you nearly set out to collect yesterday. What. “To me, this card, which happens to be the most expensive card, is THE card. Not any other rayquaza card, which could easily allegedly make me sentimental about gen 3 games as a child, but this, the most expensive chase card. It culminates in my journey”.

But yeah that screenshot belonged in cringe too. I nearly barfed. Why do I even read this thread. It’s like my hate watch thread.

and then sayin the card is ‘off the market’

Not a gold star but further evidence that the recent goldin block simply had a group of non pokemon millionaires gassed up and ready to spend as everyone suspected. What’s a spare 50-100k to these people if daddy Logan says the card is kewl

The Ray 10 sale is legit, I have done business with the sellers here in Canada. The money moving on the West coast is next level.

If he actually does any kind of time for the scams he has done then having his name on it would be hilarious

The best part is that he “doesn’t care if it goes down or not.”

Ummmm, yeah, you definitely do lol. No one pays a 10x premium to buy a PSA 10 (vs a PSA 9) if they don’t care, at a minimum, about the “prestige.”

And the “prestige” of owning that card is a hell of a lot lower if it goes down in value by 90%. Which isn’t even that implausible of a drop, tbh, because that would only mean that the card went down to the 2024 price

I would love to actually believe that a psa 10 gs ray goes down to its 30-45k prices but if there is anything that has shown to be the most consistent pattern is that when vintage hits new highs with highly sought after cards multiple times ( if those sales of 100k, 200k, and this one 340k is true ) 99% of the time they do not go back down to the previous solds usually with how buyers of those cards wont let them go for the prices that 2024 had as they know previous solds are 90% higher lol They hold the market of price on these psa 10 rays and most likely will not let them go for 40k. This whole new high of rays makes me cry lol

im wagering they dont really drop either but its important to remember the timeframes were talking here 1-2, 5 years? that is literally nothing at all and we dont know how any of these new investors will react to changing or even simply non stonking markets, they seemed all too happy to drop crypto when it went down a bit, I thought they were all believers
