I should have been warned by the description, but I may have to blacklist myself from this thread… feel so so so so inadequate. Amazing collections guys.
Definitely some insane swirl cards in this thread. Really impressed with some of them and look like solid pickups. I must admit, at first I thought they were stupid arbitrary things to drive up price, but once I realized some of my cards had them I became quite fascinated with them. Now I will surely pay an extra 5% (no more) for a solid swirl card.
The one downside I have noticed, just like the first edition stamp, it lessens the satisfaction of just having the card in general. Which I would say to others that feel that way, don’t worry your card is still really awesome, swirl or not.
Here is a slowking with a pretty nice swirl I picked up on Mercari last week.

Please post the swirls anyways. The whole god tier thing is silly and honestly I just wanna look at some swirls.

Doesn’t really matter if it qualifies, do you like the swirl? does it make you happy? If the answer is yes, then it qualifies in your book at the very least. Don’t worry about what some other people may say, myself included. Enjoy what you enjoy.
I’ve been spoiled haha! So for my personal collection, I try to find stories or interesting placement for the swirls in regards to the pokemon or it’s surroundings. Like the swirl is part of the art being expressed as opposed to simply existing and being arbitrarily placed.
Either way, good on you for joining in and nice card with a solid full-body swirl! Share more if ya find em. I’ve got a few more I found recently that I plan to post eventually.
