And a different ue and white pattern under the attacks. Cloud like v chevrons.
Ohh ya… you are right!! I’m such a Slowpoke
I didn’t notice it or the sky until you said it
I collect these and currently have 85 different ones. I did contact nintendo who told me they gave funskool a limited licence to produce cards in 2004. The leaflet ive seen posted on this post is my one. I did try selling these for a while and sold quite a few on ebay, but have now started to collect them myself and only selling my doubles. if anyone wants clearer pics of the leaflet, im happy to send
I fixed the images in your post for you. Can you provide any evidence of nintendo confirming a limited printing license?
Edit: Awks you must’ve deleted your post right after I fixed them
oops sorry took the pics down as didnt seem to have added them right and also edited my original pos as hadnt read it all and see my leaflet had already been posted. Also the info from nintendo (email) i no longer have as changed PC’s however i did send my email and reply from nintendo to Tony on this thread. he may still have it.
You still have the email even tho you changed pc. Its not linked to your pc but your email account
I have the email somewhere probably. It was just a TPCi rep saying Funskool was given a limited license to print and distribute cards. There was nothing beyond that and unfortunately, I couldn’t get any information on who the person was making the claim or where they got that information. Funskool hasn’t been responsive at all either, so unless we can get in direct contact with someone who can confirm the licensing info, there isn’t much else we can do.
Sorry for revive this thread but it was a fascinating read, even if unfortunately some of the pictures are missing. I want to pick the Psyduck cards from this obscure set and all this information was truly amazing! Still want those cards from my collection but I dont actually know their real value, tbh
Just a quick question, someone who have any of this cards can confirm if the corners of the cards are always damaged? I found a dude on IG that sells this cards and he told me it’s a normal issue but… I dont know, I saw a few Funskool graded cards and they look mostly fine
P.S: Sorry again if refloat old threads it’s not allowed
Unfortunately, this was a consequence of relying on external sites to host images. Moving forward, this should be less of an issue now that we have direct image uploading.
I had uploaded this image in the childhood collection thread. Maybe this helps you with the corner issue. I can try posting better images when I get back from work and also check if I have a Psyduck.
Cheers!
I would be very interested in a Starmie if you have one.
thank you! this are much better condition than the pictures he send me as ‘normal damage’, this is one of them just as a reference.
@Caith_Sith if you look closely there seems to be some corner issues but still ok condition for the age.
@stagecoach the starmie card as well.
Cheers!
yep, I see some dents but definitely not as bad as the picture I posted. Do you have the two variants for the Psyduck?
