Hello guys and all the bad middle stage fire starters are out now. With combusken being out of league yesterday the bottom 5 designs remained in bottom 5 which is happy enough. Combusken is one of the bad things made in hoenn starters with it’s wierd body shape and goofy face. Surviving this far is more than an achievement for it and now it’s gone. Let’s send one more packing which doesn’t deserve to be in top 3.
i get that some people see charmeleon as underdesigned and coasting on nostalgia!! but for me most of these options are only incidentally related to fire, and if there is a connection then it’s forced. like why does a monkey have a flaming tail? whereas a fire salamander just makes sense to me, and that outweighs the cons imo
Yup monferno is a blind copy of charmeleon. They made a flame tailed starter before but it had some connection and reason to do it. But for monferno ohh let’s put a flame tail because it’s fire type and a starter so people would buy it.
Charmeleon is definitely better than the middle stage monkey.
Alola brought some good designs. Rowlet is excellent for mand so is Torracat too. They messed up big time with incineroar though and I will definitely bring all my reason to hate on it when the day comes.
If people bring wartortle to top 3 in next coming poll then definitely we can coat on nostalgia until then most of the kanto designs will be taking top 3 spots in their respective polls because they are the ones which said how pokemon should be. A dream to catch just like a beast.
