I agree. I’m not a big fan of the skeleton part of its design, but it being an actual crocodile instead of (almost-)furry already puts it in my top-5 automatically out of those ten choices.
Also, I’m usually not a big fan of minor regional differences over the original, but considering the other choices, Hisuian Typhlosion is also in my top-5 (still below regular Typhlosion, obviously).

Ohh busy day and just checked all the replies and honestly the amount of incineroar hate is…..

And why hating skeledirge though?? Same opinion. I do say it’s not winning contendor but the croc can atleast be spared for more like 3-4 rounds. Out of the paldean final forms it’s the only one that actually stayed animalistic or tried so.
So community I don’t know how you decide but i will be much happy if that unwanted wrestler and another unwanter wrestler but pig go before the singing croc..
Need to change the procedure as skeledirge forced it to .
But anyways incineroar is very bad, literally, just as soon as the bunny goes I am going to vote to send this thing out..

Again we lost our best Striker pokemon right at the start. I love the footy (soccer) pokemon. Cinderace has a great sleeveless kit on. I am the only one?
This little exercise is making me realize I like the Gen 4 starters way more than I thought. Infernape is really good imo. I also think Skeledirge is better than the last few fire starters, but I expect it to go next
I’m not really a monkey/ape fan so Infernape gets my vote.
I quite like Cinderace and whilst the football (soccer) aspect is a little cringe, it’s something different.
I also think Skeledirge is cool and different.

I love Cinderace too and the whole evo line due to the football ties. Scorbunny was my starter in Sword & Shield and my go to in Pokemon Unite.
