I recently got a batch of cards and found some to be fake in the mix. I have some difficulty identifying them already ripped a real one already.
Wondering if someone here with more experience can help me out in identifying.

Quit ripping cards. Tbh a good flashlight will suffice. Can use a loupe too. Lmk what you have. Magnifying glass or something will prob be your best friend
I have a loupe but gotta look for it. The first 2 are obviously fake right? It should have a unripable silver foil layer.
What should I be looking for with the magnifying glass because I cant tell hy the font. The only reason why I noticed those 2 is because the edges were peeling.
Peeling edges happens when young kids dont take care of their cards. These sets arent my specialtybut they were faked in mass numbers. Most are pretty obvious by the foil.
Kyurem looks like it was fake, Blaziken looks like it was real
Honestly, if you turn them over and sort them by the backs it chould be pretty easy

The Black Kyurem is fake. The Blaziken EX is real. The other cards all look real.
The best thing to do for English cards is to test them with a light. Your phone’s flashlight or just holding them up to a bright light in your house will work. Fake cards will let a lot of light through, real cards have a black layer in the middle that will cut down (but not completely eliminate) the light that comes through. You can see how the Kyurem is completely white once ripped, but the Blaziken has the black layer.
You can also compare the cards to real copies online, look for videos of cards from that era being opened and compare fonts, coloring, holo patterns, etc.

Make sure you experiment and learn the cards though, just because it lets light through less than another, doesn’t mean it’s fake. you need to learn what you’re looking at. I dont know alot about the EX era though, just that volcanion was garbage and Flareon was better.
