Ended up ordering a 1st edition Base Alakazam for an attractive price. Week passed with the seller never shipping. I sent a support request checking in today, asking about it and they issued a refund a few hours later, saying the seller couldn’t fulfill the order. Heard some bad things about their customer service, but at least they were able to resolve the issue fast. Not sure if I’ll test my luck in the future, as they claim sellers have 2 days to ship and they apparently never checked in until I sent them a request. Make of that what you will lol
Hopefully not too late of a bump but have some new experiences to share for anyone considering using StockX:
Over the past month I attempted to purchase 4 cards off of the site for reasonably attractive prices and all 4 of them all either failed verification (seller sent an ungraded card) or just were never shipped. Customer service is incredibly quick and responsive, but regardless, clearly the seller base isn’t too secure/reliable. As mentioned previously, YOU yourself will likely have to contact customer service as there seems to be no time limit before the transaction is cancelled. Its up to the buyer to ask for a refund if the seller never ships.
Hope this helps someone in the future who contemplates using the platform. If this bump is too late, let me know but I felt the information was somewhat valuable. Thanks!
