Yeah I know ā¦but knowing that all the foreign language 2 player starter sets donāt have the back layout with the damage counters, where can this one come from, being English?
Australia, US and UK are the only English countries that had the Base Set a.f.a.i.k. (And after the Base, Jungle and Fossil sets theyāve also started to use the English prints in The Netherlands.)
@quuador Maybe⦠Definitely another variant of the English 2 Player Starter Set, with the normal unlimited, shadowless, 1999-2000 and this one (probably Unlimited also) which I was not aware and it is kinda of cool to discover this details.
If anyone has any info, I would really appreciate!
Speaking of starter sets, is it normal to get a galaxy foil Machamp in a Base Set 1 starter set? I was under the impression they only came in Base Set 2.
Almost bought a 8packSealed set of these, remembered that i have Efour now to save me from stupid purchases, checked for clues (not shadowless), did not bid on item and had an interesting read on another great article instead.
At this point, no idea how many iāve opened, but I would say 80% chance 9, 10% chance 10 and 10% chance 8. They are usually just OC slightly, almost never any damage.
Fun story, I bought a shadowless deck because it was unsealed, BUT the cards, including Machamp were sealed! The seller showed a picture of the box on the inside and I recognized it as being shadowless from the box layout. He showed no pictures of the cards, but just from knowing what the inside of the box looked like I was able to determine it was a shadowless deck. Very lucky on my part! I got that for 25 bucks 2 years ago.
Well, I just used this guide on what I THOUGHT was an Unlimited 2-Player Starter Set (sealed) that I bought a few weeks ago in the Seattle area. Itās SHADOWLESS!!!
Thank you very much for the short and concise guide. But I really have to ask, what is now the difference between these two sealed cases of the 2-player starter decks? Is the left one only shadowed and the right one normal?
Thanks in advance and best regards from Slovenia (EU)
