Bringing back the Masterball cards was such a good move. They must have paid close attention to positive collector reactions from 151. Whether it was in their plans to add the Masterball feature into TF anyway… I’m not so sure. If 151 had been a high class set too, you might think “oh yeah, looks like Masterball reverses are a new aspect of SV high class sets”, but that wasn’t the case. I guess they could also have simply just pivoted and included it as a last-minute addition to the set after witnessing the success of 151.

I’m extremely happy if we’re getting another set with guaranteed SARs in Japanese and generous pull rates in English. These are so much fun to share with loved ones and will make some great Christmas gifts

Another thing I just thought of,
If Prismatic Evolutions is going to use the same Pokéball and Master Ball reverse holos for their main set, will the main set consist of the same or different cards?
- Already speculated that its main set bulk will have new cards from the 9 Generations decks
- New artworks of main set reprints in Terastal Festival ex already exist as pre-release promos or promos in other TPCi products
- Main set is 131 cards, not 187
- If they are different from Terastal Festival ex, then there may be reverse holos of cards exclusive to Prismatic Evolutions

It’s the second ex in this set that didn’t have an SAR before (Dragapult ex), outside of the Eeveelutions. So far this set prioritises:
- Set mascots from SV4 to SV7
- Playable cards
- Gen 9 Pokémon
- Eeveelutions
Unfortunately, Gengar ex will not be getting an SAR because the remaining Psychic slot (211/187) goes to Stellar Espeon ex

My wallet is happy that I can pretty much skip this set as there’s nothing that fits in with my current collection goals, unless there’s a full art Johto gym leader still to come (which is obviously not going to happen)
