Had an very intense (and sloppy) VGC set with @caughtatpoint just now. Thought I was cooked after not bringing Indeedee to psyspam in game 2, but somehow clutched it out to win 2-1. ggs, Caught!

g1 was very very close and at some point I assume I was already lose and already start planning for g2, but somehow clutched it out in the endgame helped by Blaze Cinderace.
g2 after my Cinderace stole both screens, I was able to play my lines and then close out the game.

ggs, I completely forgot about the starter Pokemon abilities like Blaze because they are so rarely run outside of Singles in this Gen. Assumed Cinderace was Choice Band and wouldn’t have Court Change, which cost me the set.
Congrats @bule you’re facing @Tryson21 in the rematch for the Singles crown. Remember to prepare 2 different teams in case of a bracket reset.
