Hi everyone, going forward there will be a rule that all best-of-3 sets need to be completed in the sitting they are scheduled in or within a couple hours (if a quick break is needed for longer games). While I understand stuff comes up, games should not be played days or weeks apart as it throws off momentum.
Please schedule your games during a time where both you and your opponent can commit to finishing the best-of-3.

I wanted to expand the data set here and look more in-deepth at team construction this gen and founds some other interesting bits of information:

Metagame development:
My early thoughts here is that a number of us were actually trying to counter the 2018 usage data given from showdown in the last month. Tapu fini on ladder was running around close to 40% and was ranked 3rd total usage. I think most folks planned to hard counter that with the use of both Koko and Kartana.
Tapu Lele seems to have gotten a lot of love this tournament! Despite usually ranking as the third best Tapu historically, this tournament sees it running in a strong second in terms of Tapu usage. Psychic spam seems to be less popular this tournament with just myself and @ddk running both Lele and Mega Metagross on the same team.
Incineroar usage is by no means surprising with an over 70% usage stat. It seems most teams have a rough check to the cat with increase usage with both Lando-T and Gastrodon.
Weather teams appear to have some popularity this generation as every Charizard in the tournament being zard-y brings sun. A single Pelipper and Ludicolo/Swampert core being run by @lyleberr. And finally a snow team being run by @mrbubbles. It looks like most teams had an answer to rain teams with Gastrodon usage being somewhat high, or utilizing Koko to threaten opposing rain.
Winners: Big threats have resurfaced compared to older E4 tournaments. Snorlax is back on top with 5 separate teams running the big guy. Both Salamence and Gastrodon are seeing some peak usage this tournament compared to past gens as well.
Losers: Amoongus really takes a dive this generation as Tapu koko is everywhere with only two teams running the shroom. Cresselia also takes a dive to only 2 being used tournament wide as most teams opt for tailwind over trick room this generation for speed control. Tyranitar- Where you at?
Overall: a pretty strong showing and diverse set of teams that should lead to some great games! Thankfully we see a majority of the tournament running single use pokemon (23 by my count). So each game should be pretty different in terms of play, we’ll still see the cat come out to play most games but the answers to that may be more diverse than we think!

Very interesting analysis. Just a heads up, I would not use myself in any kind of data analysis in the future. There is a very strong possibility that I do not know what I am doing at all.
