Ohhh, I think I got it to work! And the visualization effect is really trippy/cool. But I can’t make out what it is so I’ll take a peek at the hint and see if I can make it out then.
Edit: I see it now. The illusion/visual trick is so weird. It doesn’t take much, and I can suddenly lose sight of everything. And then it takes a few tries for the effect to come out again, even if I know what it’s supposed to look like (thinking I can preset the brain to look for the visualization or whatever).
Thank you! I wanted to challenge myself this year by making a Rowlet completely out of ovals. This is what I would imagine Rowlet would see in the mirror if it accidentally ate a hallucinogenic berry.
Turns out i really didn’t find much time outside those night hours, i probably also broke as many rules as man can count. However here are my creations:
I took the child drawing category literally and made my kids colour the drawing i made, most of it is done by the firstborn but some lines by twins too, they mostly concentrated on tasting the pencils but every now and then some pencils touched the paper too. I probably didn’t make that muk focal point enough so please tolerate my irresponsible decissions.
I love that the kids helped with this. I feel their subtle pencil water color ( spit wet, not dipped) really brings out Muk’s highlights! Well done! Kids way to elevate Dad’s art to the next level!
Wwwoooooo!!! This is absolutely one of my favorite times of the year. The annual E4 art contest really motivates me to dust off my pastels and get drawing/painting. I don’t get a lot of time to do it nowadays, but I forced myself to get to work. The submissions already posted are absolutely amazing! Thanks to everyone who is participating, for making my weekend that much better. Of course thank you to @brendantheclayboy, @azulryu, and everyone else who has made this awesome competition possible.
Medium: Crayons, water-based paint, and markers on rolled paper (all Crayola)
I had my 5 year old son help me with this one and we had a fantastic time painting and coloring. This is way bigger than it seems (approx. 4 feet by 5 feet!)
Hope to post my Original by days end. Thanks @brendantheclayboy and @azulryu for all your heavy lifting to make this happen. I am really enjoying the creativity and sprit of this event!
@kromaticlanturn what great contrast in pieces. The broodibg not happy Dragonite, literally burning it down and the most joyful duo in Again and Again! Loving the child art featuring input from actual children!
