Does this card actually exist? Is there any way to find this ever in my life?

Hello everyone,

I am posting this to understand where i stand regarding my Wailmer collecting journey.

I currently am slowly gathering all the wailmers in every language in every version that ever existed.

By going through some threads, i found this card right here

I have read from quadoor that he is not sure that this was even ever printed.

Does anyone have any info on this? Should i actually go around and start asking people and searching for it, or should i consider this out of my collection?
If it was ever printed I would go out of my way to try and find a single copy, but I am not sure it even exists.

Thank you in advance for all the help, also if it does exist, anyone that could get in contact with pokemon company staff or anyone that could help me find this would be greatly appreciated.

I dont think it exists. Quaador said it was a fake scan.

I already mentioned it to @Komono in the Species Discord chat, but it indeed turned out that picture I once saved was just a digital joke. Because there were other Sample cards from the e-Series, many people - including me - thought this Wailmer was one of the Sample cards from that era that never officially released.

But in 2023, someone mentioned they were the one who created it back in the day, just before the Japanese e-series cards would release:

So it was indeed just an internet hoax, and this card doesn’t physically exist.

Also I dont think Ill ever get your username correct . I double checked the spelling before commenting, and still got it wrong. Id also rather not just ping you for the sake of it as well. Im sure that I am 100% dsylexic now though, so theres that.

No worries. Almost everyone types it wrong, usually with two A’s instead of two U’s like you did. I’m used to it by now.

Just thought it was funny you both had my username incorrect.

I got really scared because if that card existed that would have meant that I would have never completed my collection!

Also i sorry for spelling your name wrong! It’s very unusual and the double letters get mixed up! I’ll make sure to get it right next time Quuador!
