Does cgc do double error denotations on cards? I recently picked up a heart stamp clefairy, but it also appears to have a slight print layer misalignment (its more than cards i have sent in past and they have got denotation).
they do all errors whether they remember to put it on the label is another thing ![]()
Lol very true, i was wondering if they would add two on the same label.
That misalignment is very common and wouldn’t warrant an error designation
I have cards with less of a misalignment that have been recognized by cgc, still gonna try and see what happens. I have spent a few years keeping my eye out for these misalignments and only have found a few, so i dont think they are that common.
Ah ok the black spot color layer is offset, I see it.
Cgc does grade misalignments of that same offset size, but it can be missed (or the offset isn’t enough to be awarded the error designation.
The “misalignment” error designation can fit underneath the “Red Heart” text (see the 5 line text Alakazam), so it’s possible to get a double error on the front unless they screw you and throw the text on the back.
