I have been buying my JP boxes through AmiAmi since BW3 and they have given out promos once only.

Best to pick one up from eBay separately, the promos for sets don’t tend to be that expensive.
This, to me, is why box topper promos make more sense than buy a box promos. No distribution hassle. It’s just in your box. You know you’ll get it.
Kaijudo, a game that hasbro had for a few years as a relaunch of Duel Masters, included an extra holo rare or ultra rare in every box. It was just as exciting to see which extra you would get as opening packs. I love that type of draw in method.

I like that method as well… However then people would stop shopping at the Pokemon Center and instead go straight to places like amiami
Is that really a significant draw for those sales? I obviously have zero idea. Genuinely curious if this would be true.
I think it definitely draws in a lot of fans. They started limiting the sleeve sales too because people were going bananas over pokecen sleeves. So I mean the Pokemon Center tries it’s draws at bringing in sales.
Which is fantastic for collectors/players who live in Japan…

My point though; Promo cards with box purchases in which case that’s uniquely Japanese for the time being. Sorry if there was confusion.
