Different autographs PSA

Hello everyone, can anyone tell me the differences between the PSA autograph grades? I have already seen the following:

MINT 9
AUTO AUTH

MINT 9

MINT 9

AUTHENTIC
MINT 9

The grades are just an example.

First one is saying the card is a 9 the auto is a 10.

The second is saying the card is a 9 and the autograph is authentic no auto grade.

The last one is saying the card is authentic without a grade but the autograph is a 10.

Thanks, decides how the PSA is rated? and what is an authentic no auto grade?

It’s decided by however the submitter sends it in. Things like grading the autograph cost more $ so having a card that is graded like the one with the authentic auto. Just means they didn’t pay to have the auto graded.
Here are examples with a basic service of a standard card. Some signers like Arita or Sugimori have more expensive authentication fees thus higher fees for grading the auto as well.

For example you send a card not signed you are charged to grade the card. Aprox ($15usd)

When you send a signed card you are paying to grade/ authenticate the card itself. Then the fee to authenticate the autograph itself. That does not get the autograph graded aprox ($15 usd + $20 auto auth fee)

If you again choose to spend more $ the autograph can be graded. So a card that is 9 auto 10

The submitter has paid to grade the card, authenticate the auto and additionally to grade the auto. Aprox ( $15 usd + $20 auto auth fee + $10 auto grade fee)

That’s very interesting, of course, I didn’t know that. I’ve only ever booked dual grading for around €40 through the middleman. But PSA checks the authenticity of the card and the autograph for each of these types, right?

If your doing a duel service then yes. Both the card and auto authentication is done.

All the examples you posted should be both the card and autograph being authenticated.

Occasionally you will see a card with the label just saying “Trading card” with the signers name and either auto auth or an Auto Grade.

That is the only case i know of where the card itself is not authenticated by psa. If the label doesnt just generically call the item a trading card. Then the card itself along with the autograph have been authenticated.
