Hey a quick hijack just to help out. The VHS intro set is always on sale for about $45 BIN inc shipped from 1 seller on eBay sometimes he puts a special and they go to $35 I got 2 about 2 weeks ago.

I mostly got these from eBay, Yahoo Japan and some members from the board. I paid about $80+shipping for my Series 3 set from a US Seller on eBay. The CD was $30 on eBay again, someone had put it for $30 Buy-it-now, there were about 4 bids so I just purchased it, lol. VHS set I got it for $35 on eBay as well.

Ya shoot I’m trying to build my collection and it barely scratches the surface of yours! Ok sweet that’s good to know. Thanks to you and Jacob’s Gengar above. I never even knew about Yahoo Japan. Ok good to know on those I’ll look for them to pop up for about that price. I paid $80+shipping for my series 2 brand new and $95 for my series 1 brand new. But then I recently won an auction for all three series combined came to $103!!! They’re in NM in sleeves. So guess I won’t be tempted to peel the series 1 and 2 off!
AH don’t worry my friend, soon you’ll have an awesome collection as you’re off to a great start with the vending series, just be careful this is really addicting and can have serious impact on your wallet if you’re not careful!
Make a list of your top 5 wants and concentrate on those first, only make an exception if you see a truly great deal.
Thanks for the advice! I’ve already noticed thebad impact on the wallet! Yikes too many cool cards and promos and too much buying. I finally had to go through my ebay and nearly eliminate all watched auctions at least for awhile. But I can already feel the craving to buy more! Yikes! I like the idea of a list. And I probably need to figure out a monetary limit per month for collecting. I started off just wanting to finish my pokemon base, jungle, and fossil sets from when I was a kid for nostalgic reasons and because I enjoy collecting. And now I’m hooked on all these cool promos!

Believe it or not I found them on Y!J, I was surprised to find them there. 
The Pikachu is not glossy, I have 2 peeled ones here and they’re matte. I don’t know how they achieved to make them cards that need to be peeled without the glossy surface.
Not quite sure about the story behind these, I see it’s in Japanese but these were supposedly distributed in France? I might be really wrong here so someone please correct me if I"m wrong.
Did you peel them yourself? If not, then we can’t be sure. I bought a Pikachu on eBay just like you, but that one may have been distributed in a different way.
I purchased them already loose.
Damn, we should ask on other forums to see if someone knows, unless I find another 2 of these I’m leaving these unpeeled.

No idea to be quite honest.
I just thought to myself I’d pick these up before prices go up since I like the art on this one.
Yeah it’s definitely really nice. The holo pattern made me think of Shiny Collection so I thought it would be from there bu that didn’t make sense cause I have the set and don’t own that card. 
But if they were from that silver pack I guess maybe they are one of those Gym promos or something?
