CCIC grading in China

What about the 9.5 ? Can you describe the defects of the card and if you agree with it ?

Very ugly printline. Based on my experience, I’ve found that it’s better to purchase raw cards without asking about their condition, rather than paying a premium for a copy listed as ‘mint.’ I believe this is because trading card grading in China is very cheap and fast, which may lead to a high number of raw cards being listed on sites like eBay with small issues that sellers might overlook or misrepresent. In my opinion, 99% of the raw copies I’ve seen shipped from China have had minor imperfections.

The people I am helping middleman it they purchase for around 2000$ CCIC 10 of that Gengar, the 9.5 are all around 1300-1400$.

Every time I scan a cert in WeChat (my card, every CCIC cert I find online), using the Discover/Scan feature, it just leads me to the following. Am I doing something wrong?

Oh wait, I figured it out. I had to look for CCIC in search, then use their mini program, instead of just scanning in WeChat.

This process worked perfectly. Definitely use the diagonal plaiers like in your photos. I initially tried with some fencing pliers, and it didn’t work.

Can you explain how do you check the card on CCIC? Like you, when I scan the QR code on the back, the website doesn’t load anything.

From the ccic side app on wechat :

Wechat miniprogram

I can’t read Chinese. And I don’t see this on Wechat.

It seems we’re seeing different things in the CCIC Mini Program, which might be due to a difference in our WeChat versions or because my account is verified. Based on what I see in my version.

Off topic :

CCIC is very generous with grades of 9.5 and below. It’s rare to see a CCIC 9, as they often give a 9.5 even with minor pressure damage or other issues. For this reason, I would not recommend cracking a CCIC 9.5 and hoping to get a PSA 10.

However, CCIC is very strict on their 10s. Every CCIC 10 I’ve seen or cracked has been absolutely flawless.

Is not like BGS which is much stricter with their grades. Those who have cracked a BGS 9.5 sometimes find that the imperfection causing the deduction is not visible to them. This is not the case with CCIC 9.5s, as their flaws are typically noticeable.

This may seem counterintuitive, but I’d suggest a tip: choose a card with slightly off-center rather than a perfectly centered CCIC 10.

Here’s why:

If a card receives a CCIC 10 grade but not the ‘gold label’, it likely has some subtle flaw. If that flaw isn’t in the centering, it’s probably on the surface, edges, or corners.

However, if a card has a minor off-center grade, the other qualities (surface, edges, corners) are very likely flawless—otherwise, the overall grade would probably be a 9.5 instead of a 10.

Given that PSA’s centering standards for a Gem Mint 10 are often more forgiving (allowing up to approximately 55/45 or 60/40 on the front) than other grading companies, a slightly off-center card with a pristine surface, edges, and corners is an ideal candidate for a “crack and resubmit” strategy to potentially achieve a PSA 10.

Is there a way to verify ccic certs without a WeChat account?

So I just moved to China this year and am trying to get some of my first graded slabs, but I’m having trouble navigating the mini program to correctly send in my first cards to grade, can someone help out? I don’t know if the translation is incorrect, but under the “choice of services” tabs it’s unclear what to pick for standard grading services

Hi, have you managed to come right?
