1st ed cards. I thought, it was just a stamp, and perhaps I rationalized not buying them because I wanted to save money… IDK. I never liked 1st ed until I started to get into the value aspect of it more. I do have to say 1st ed base is still not a fave. I don’t like how there’s no set symbol to balance the stamp on the left… Oh well. XD
Ancient Mew, Mew Black Star number 8 and 9, Base Machamp and the Steelix Trainer Mag promo. I still like all of them except the Ancient Mew, but nowhere near as much as I used to do.
I liked e-series when I was a kid, and still like it now!

Commons and Uncommons. When opening a pack it’s so easy to overlook these cards because you’re hoping to pull the shiniest card in the set but the art on a lot of the common/uncommon cards are just so good. I take my time a lot more now with opening packs and really try to appreciate each card.

When I first started collecting I thought e series and modern cards looked really dumb but now I absolutely love both.
Also a more recent one, I’ve come to really like prism cards after not caring about them at all when it was first released.
