What do you guys feel is the best time for an auction to end? I usually have mine end at Saturday at 4:30 pm PST.

well depending what time zone you live in really but saturday and sunday seem to be the best days
As mch as I hate to…I agree with bags;) Tuesdays and Thursdays have consistently been my best days…though early evening is my preference.

Thursdays are unquestionably the best day and generally early evening between 7.30 and 9.30. Weekends are totally barren so avoid.

What happened to Sunday from 7-10pm? I thought the hierarchy was always Sunday evening then thursday.

Agreed. There are statistics regarding activity on ebay.de showing that thursdays are by far the most active days on the site. Although I’m not sure if that counts in the same way for the US.
I was going with Sunday’s for a long time because that’s what the internet told me to do 
but it is kind of like a wasteland at auctions-end sometimes compared to what it used to be when I used weekday auctions.
I’m going to try a Tues or Thurs next time

Don’t close your higher price items on Fridays…you’ll get murdered:)
Maybe after school on lower priced singles is ok…never tried.
From personal selling in the past Sundays and Monday nights were big ones. Friday and Saturday were stale with dismal prices.
My vote is Sunday 8:30-10:30pm depending on your gmt and area location.
I just remember, high school, msn days, sunday nights my f-list always had 30-50% more people online, and active.
That was some time ago, but lazy sundays are still active in my opinion.
I have always found my best results have been between 5-8pm my time (which is 7-10 in the East of Australia, which is where a lot of my business comes from) on a Sunday. Thursday/Friday have always been my backup days with the same times.
