Hey guys,
Ive had a hard time pin pointing the correct value on a base 2 booster box, considering the packs are selling for 200-300 on ebay i want to say the avg value would be 10k but we have sales at 13k/17k. I know pokerev and other influencers have sold box break packs for 500+ but i would consider that a specialized price.
Please let me know what your opinion is.

and I am saying 1/10th of skyridge is too much for base 2 btw
I think that’s a reflection on the Skyridge price more than the Base 2 price
its a reflection on the drive of base 2 price, everyone buying base 2 at high prices are not people who will be found on this forum, ie see it as one of the lowest ranked popular sets. People on this forum know when something is spiked due to inorganic demand and when it has merit. Skyridge has stayed the same because the buyer pool is more educated, do you think that these new collectors who jumped the boat when logan made a video even know what eseries is?
Its why you see changes in price of wotc stuf pre eseries because new collectors don’t know eseries and dont understand it. Yes eseries has grown but not even close to what it would have if it followed the trends of the (in comparison) mass printed early wotc unlimited

Base 2 is just priced around the Charizard price.
PSA 10 Charizard is around 10k, so the box price will accomodate.
There are no other hidden conspiracies.
I was quite surprised when I saw PokeRev labeling it as a 20k booster box… From all of the cards he opened the value was like 4k or something hilariously low.
