I’m assuming this is a CGC oopsy, but they just sent me the same email they sent me last month about teaming up with Snype.

It appears that Darren Rovell has not been reviewing his email or fulfilling his duties as a reporter who seeks to be trusted. To help him verify the accuracy of his own records, we will publish his bid history here. While most people find it easier to examine information delivered directly to their inbox, we can accommodate Darren’s preference for this exchange to be public.

We hold his data—and that of every other victim of Probstein’s negligence and schemes—with great respect, more so than Probstein ever did. If he were to check his email, he would be able to confirm the real extent of Rick Probstein’s negligence and deceptive practices.

Instead, we provide a list of Snype items on which he placed bids, along with pertinent details from each listing. Several entries feature Probstein as the consignor, while one indicates “SALES” (who might that be?), enabling him to verify the authenticity of these interactions on the Snype platform and, consequently, the validity of the data.

We have encountered unfounded rumors suggesting that the data breach is fabricated and merely an AI‑driven defamation campaign against Rick. To anyone who entertains such baseless claims—rather than grappling with the data already available to you—we urge caution in navigating this complex landscape; it can be perilous for those unprepared.

Well it’s been over 30 days and Rick doesn’t seem to have met the legal obligation of disclosing the data breach in many jurisdictions (though ironically for my case maybe our phone call counted :skull_and_crossbones: )

In case anyone had their data breached and cares enough, Chatgpt helped me compile these links, and I personally used them all when submitting my own complains.

I filed a complaint with the:

IC3

Federal Trade Commission:

Identitytheft.gov (didn’t file here as I don’t have loss to show")

The final is NY resident specific.

These are all official government sites and forms. They do ask for all your personal info, I personally used the same info that I gave to snype which is already out there. I personally filled out all of these forms aside from the identitytheft.gov one, since once I got to a section it asked if I had fraudulent charges resulting and said no, it said I do not need to report through them. They will seemingly only accept complaints where actual fraudulent charges/identity theft have occurred.
