I just opened a few shadowless base set theme decks. The cards are desirable yes, but also destroyed. At least the holo that is.
@milhouse has talked about it before and I was shocked just how bad they actually came out. The holo card lies on top and is covered in residue from the way they sealed the cards together. Any luck cleaning up those cards milhouse? I have a gyarados, mewtwo, and ninetales that I don’t know what to do with at the moment. Mint/gem mint looking except for the residue.

No what I mean is I busted them out of the case and tried to clean them and ended up destroying them.
@swolepoke I kind of doubt these would fit in the “stain” guidelines though as it is a residue, not really a stain. It really is horrible how bad they look. Such nice cards otherwise. I’m going to give a few things a go this weekend, but my hopes are really low on these.

I’ve already seen 3 separate people grade the holos out the box and get the (ST) grade! Edit: In 2017
So I’m hopefully
PSA 9 (ST)? Or what grade? I guess I can give the best looking one a go in my next submission @swolepoke
