Ive been really bad with modern sets. What i would like to pull next is charizard ex (223) from obsidian flames since its so crazy and i have nothing like it
But i actually really like the one from paldean fates
May order 2 boxes and have fun ripping. If i dont pull, i can always buy the card later on 
Its just more fun to pull
Plus they dont really break the bank the same way some of these vintage packs do, and thats super nice
The earlier scarlet and violet half was a lot better than the latter. Temporal forces was one of the worst S&V sets out there. Hits weren’t fun, set was very VERY weak.

It’s just how PSA grades and it’s mainly a bit of a flexible value I think to give them some wiggle room when assigning 10s with respect to eye appeal and other factors. Then you also have to consider that a lot of vintage sports cards have much more centering issues than more modern cards like Pokemon. In some cases, a card may never be 50/50 centered on the front of the card, let alone the front & back of the card.
PSA gets away with it by calling a 10 a ‘virtually perfect card’, and so for most collectors we view that as ‘about as good as it can get’ when collecting PSA 10s. If collectors want something more, that is where things like BGS Black Labels or CGC Pristine/Perfect grades come into play which people will generally pay a premium over a PSA 10 in some cases if they want something even more ‘perfect’ than a PSA 10.
Looking at the centering in the front-on picture I would be shocked if they gave it a PSA 10. Mathematically it may be close to PSAs limit but from first impressions it is noticeably OC
Don’t let that take away from an incredible pull though, you’re very lucky!

That was my thought as well honestly. We’ll see but cards like this will be under extra scrutiny
A 9 is still really good
Believe it or not, pop for this card is still under 100, so it would be so cool to own a card like this in a 10, especially one you were able to pull and grade.
im stil thrilled either way. Just mentally preparing myself now.
It was just a shock to see the back in such perfect condition. I even looked at it through a jewelers loupe, none of the 4 corners have any flaking at all. Sides are smooth and perfect. Front doesnt have print lines which are so notorious with the set.
Oh well, all good

If you had nearly perfect centering, Charizard’s wing on the front right edge border should be fully visible. The copy that you pulled has Charizard’s wing touching the edge of the card.
I would expect your copy to grade a PSA 9 in a best case scenario and a PSA 8 in a worst case scenario. It’s a nice card no matter what, but I would be shocked if it got a PSA 10 with that front centering.
I hope you will update us with the grade.
PS: Congrats on the huge pulls! You should probably buy a lottery ticket with that kind of insane luck.

I thought this zard was out of scope of allowable centering for a 10 (its a PSA 9) but using the tool, its within the limits (but of course I doubt PSA actually use something like this lol).
